Joan Macario, from Brains Telde, surpassing himself in the Spanish Championships

Joan participated in the long distance championship on January 30. He swam the 5000 meter, and with his time of 57:03, he became fourth of Spain.
Two weeks ago he participated in the Spanish championship by communities, swimming the 1500 and 400 freestyle and 400 styles. In the 1500 with a time of 15: 58.56 not only did he become third of Spain but he needed one more second to beat the Canary Islands record. In the 400 free, with a time of 4:08.83, he became seventh of Spain. In the 400 IM (styles), with a time of 4:42.68; Joan became tenth of Spain too.
He is now preparing himself for the Spanish championship, and trying to see if he manages to enter any European championship.
